Joe & Jacqueline – Lusty Beg Island

Jacqueline & Joe’s wedding is a special one, not only was it an awesome day but also because it was my first ever booking! Jacqueline contacted me back in 2012 when she got engaged and asked me to photograph her wedding. At this stage I was only photographing my little muse Harrison and I was shocked that someone would have such faith in me when I had only photographed my family. It was Jacqueline who gave me the encouragement I needed to progress with my love for photography, so thank you Jac, without your vision and trust in me, Sharon Kee Photography could still be a distant dream…

Now, moving onto Joe & Jac’s wedding, it was EPIC,  I always knew it would be! Jac is a shoe designer in London, her creative talents are amazing and they overflowed on her wedding day. From her hand drawn wedding invitations to the winter woodland themed decor at the reception room at Lust Beg, Jac really put her own stamp on things. She also played a part in designing her own wedding dress, and what a dress it was, a Jane Bourvis beauty which showed off her equally amazing Gucci sandals. As for the groomsmen, they also upped the game in terms of style with their attire.

I had so much fun capturing Joe & Jac’s day, at the centre of it all was fun, with the union of the Irish & English all up for the craic. Joe & Jac it was a privilege to document your day. I hope these picture do it justice!

ps. Big shout out of thanks goes to Sarah, of Sarah Bryden Photography who helped me out with the grooms party shots.
